Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Grounds for Yoga, a DBA of Pubful LLC (“Grounds for Yoga”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through groundsforyoga.com, why, and the choices and rights you have.

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to operate the website. Analytics are not collected without your consent. We do not sell your personal information, and we set no tracking cookies unless you accept them.

01 Who we are

Grounds for Yoga is a yoga business operating as a DBA of Pubful LLC, the data controller for this site. You can reach us at info@groundsforyoga.com.

02 Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us or what is needed to run the site securely:

  • Contact form — your first and last name, email, optional phone number, the topic you select, and your message.
  • Organizations form — your first and last name, email, optional phone number, your organization or website, the type of program you are interested in, and your message.
  • Stay-in-touch signup — just the email address you enter so we can reach out about offerings and events. This is a “leave your email and we’ll follow up” prompt, not a mailing-list subscription.
  • Technical data — limited server logs (IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps) used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
  • Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies; otherwise no analytics data is collected. See our Cookie Policy.

03 How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide the information, sessions, or programs you ask about.
  • To follow up with you about offerings and events if you leave your email through the stay-in-touch prompt.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website and prevent abuse or spam.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

04 Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g. analytics cookies and the stay-in-touch signup); our legitimate interests (answering inquiries and securing the site); and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

05 Cookies and analytics

By default we set no tracking cookies. The only thing we store on your device without asking is a small record of your cookie choice, so we don’t ask again — it contains no tracking identifiers. Google Analytics (GA4) loads only after you accept the cookie banner; until then nothing third-party runs. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

06 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — for example Google Workspace, which we use to store and email the form and signup submissions to the business, and our hosting/infrastructure — bound to protect it and use it only on our instructions.
  • Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies, subject to Google’s own policies.
  • Authorities or others when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.

07 International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

08 Data retention

We keep the information you submit only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically the life of our correspondence with you plus a reasonable period for record-keeping — then delete or anonymize it. Server logs are kept only briefly for security and reliability.

09 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to restrict or object to processing; and to withdraw consent. Under California law (CCPA/CPRA) you may request to know, delete, or correct your information and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

  • To exercise a right, contact info@groundsforyoga.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

10 Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, rate limiting, and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

11 Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If a minor practices with us, arrangements are made directly with a parent or guardian.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
