Practicing through injury recovery
Recovering from an injury changes what your body can do, sometimes for a while and sometimes for good. A group class moving at its own pace rarely accounts for that. A curated course does.
Meeting the healing stage
Where you are in recovery matters. The work in the first weeks after an injury or surgery is different from the work months later. A course is designed around your current capacity and adjusted as that capacity changes — ideally in coordination with your medical team.
Building capacity, not forcing range
The goal isn't to push into a stretch. It's to rebuild strength, control, and confidence around the area that's healing, so the tissue is supported rather than strained. Progress is gradual and specific to you.
Tools you keep
Alongside the movement, breath-led practice helps regulate pain and stress — two things that tend to travel with injury. Those are tools you carry off the mat and into the rest of your recovery.
If you're working through an injury and want a practice designed around it, start a conversation.
