You don't need to be flexible to start yoga

The most common reason people give for not starting yoga is that they aren't flexible. It's worth saying plainly: flexibility is something practice builds, not something you need before you begin.

Start from where you are

A first session isn't a test. It's a conversation between you and your body — noticing where things move easily, where they don't, and what feels safe. Every pose can be adjusted, propped, or replaced. Nothing about the practice requires you to touch your toes on day one.

Breath comes first

Before shape, before depth, there's the breath. Learning to breathe steadily through a gentle stretch teaches your nervous system that the sensation is safe. That's often where real change starts — not in the range of a joint, but in the relationship between effort and ease.

One skill at a time

We build from the ground up: breath, then movement, then the connection between them. You don't need to arrive anywhere in particular. You need to show up, pay attention, and let the practice meet you where you are.
